Position Highlights

  • Work location: Texas Health Ft. Worth, 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76104
  • Work environment: Women’s Services (GYN/Antepartum) 27-bed unit combining GYN, High Risk Antepartum, Breast surgery and Postpartum patients
  • Will work with GYN, post-surgical patients – variety of surgeries to include hysterectomies, breast surgeries; Postpartum (NICU moms), and Antepartum patients (all gestation levels)
  • Work hours: Full-time, 36 hours weekly, (3) 12-hour shifts, 6:30PM – 7:00AM
  • Salary range: $26.50 – $50.82 per hour (based on relevant experience) + Great shift differentials

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred
  • CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (required)
  • Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support certification through the American Heart Association required upon hire
  • NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days is required
  • EKG (telemetry monitoring) and Fetal Monitoring (EFM) will be obtained as part of competencies
  • 1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
  • More than 2 years Med/Surg, GYN or Antepartum or Labor & Delivery RN experience strongly preferred
  • In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will:
  • Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
  • maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude toward patients
  • possess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalism
  • have basic computer skills using Medical management application systems
