Position Highlights
Work location: Texas Health Arlington Memorial 800 W. Randol Mill Road TX 76012 ,
Work environment: – The WOC Nurse will be caring for patients throughout the hospital. Primarily in the Acute care, Med Surg and ICU unit.

  • Work hours: PRN – Days – As needed
  • Salary range: Flat Rate – $39.00

Qualifications
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required
• 2 years of nursing experience is required
• RN – Registered Nurse required upon hire
• WOCN required upon hire
• OR CWCN required within 6 months of hire
• OR CWOCN required within 6 months of hire
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support is required upon hire
• CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 60 days of hire

In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will

  • Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
  • maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude toward patients
  • possess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalism
  • have basic computer skills using Medical management application systems

Position Responsibilities
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
• assesses the patient
• plans the care of the patient
• intervenes as appropriate
• evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
• Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
• Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers
